Cationic fabrics are polyester fabrics, usually using cationic yarns in the warp direction and normal polyester yarns in the weft direction, and dyeing with separate dyes, polyester yarns with normal dyes and cationic yarns with cationic dyes, the fabric effect will appear as a two-colour effect. Cationic fabrics have a number of chemical properties such as resistance to corrosion, dilute alkalis, bleaching agents, oxidisers, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acids, and also have some physical properties such as resistance to UV light.
